Some suggestions:
- 9.2 #7: you will need to determine the t value for the point (-1, 0)
- 9.3 #1: use limits t = 0 to t = 2pi (this will trace the curve once - check on your calculator)
- 9.3 #5: use limits t = 0 to t = pi/2 (this will trace the curve once - check on your calculator)
- If you want to try the 9.3 bonus problems (#21, 23, 25), read pages 738-739 in your text including example 3.4)
Also, be sure to try the 2004 free response sample and the "Additional Review Questions" #11 & 12 before class on Tuesday.
